The Knights of Lithuania sponsored the establishment of the Our Lady of Šiluva Fund, Inc. during its 2003 National Convention in Brockton, MA, as it celebrated its 90th anniversary.  The purpose of the fund is to help promote the knowledge of and devotion to Our Lady through her appearance at Šiluva, Lithuania, in 1608.  Our Lady of Šiluva is the patroness of fallen away Catholics.  Though not as well known as Our Lady's appearance at Lourdes or Fatima, her appearance in Šiluva is the first church recognized appearance of Our Lady in all of Europe and second in the world to her appearance in Guadalupe, Mexico.
